Wheels with TPE / TPU tyres
TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) and its subcategory TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) are synthetic substances which combined the characteristics of rubber with those of thermoplastics. TPE is as soft as rubber, and can be shaped plastically when heated, which enables it to be injection moulded (including 2-K). It is dynamic, highly durable and extremely hard wearing. At the same time it features a high level of elasticity and dampens vibrations to a great extent.
Wheels with EVA tyres
Ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) is a kind of foam material with highly elastic properties which are similar to those of rubber.
A higher level of puncture resistance with the same smooth ride ensures that TOLGES wheels with foam EVA tyres are a low-maintenance and reduced-weight alternative to conventional wheels with air-filled tyres. Smooth running and minimal wear and tear mean that these wheels are also ideal for interior use, where they leave virtually no traces.
